We believe beautiful design should do more than photograph well. It should support the rhythms of everyday life, reflect the people who live there, and make even the most ordinary moments feel meaningful.

Meet Anne

House of Dreams was founded by Anne, an interior designer whose approach has been shaped by a life lived across three countries and five states.
Before beginning her design career, Anne worked as a behavior therapist for children with autism and spent more than a decade as a stay-at-home mother. Those experiences taught her how closely our surroundings affect the way we feel, function, connect, and experience daily life.
Today, Anne brings that same attentiveness to every project. She listens closely, notices the details others may overlook, and designs spaces around the people who will actually use them.
As a mother of three and the wife of a fellow entrepreneur, she understands that a home can be beautiful while still making room for homework, busy mornings, shared meals, work calls, celebrations, and the wonderfully imperfect parts of family life.

Meet Bethany

Bethany provides business development and design services at House of Dreams, bringing together a love of art, an eye for possibility, and a thoughtful approach to building relationships.

With a degree in Art History and experience as an artist and small business owner, she understands both the creative and practical sides of bringing an idea to life. Her years in real estate and experience managing remodels and new construction taught her to see the big picture while focusing on the details that make a project run smoothly.

Bethany is a mother of three: two daughters attend Clemson University, and she has a seven-year-old son at home. She is passionate about learning, and her involvement in her children’s educational journeys has reinforced the importance of asking thoughtful questions, listening closely, and staying engaged.

She brings that same advocacy to House of Dreams, where she loves connecting with contractors, clients, and collaborators of all kinds, learning what matters most to them, and helping turn those conversations into projects with purpose.

We love spaces with warmth, history, and a little tension. A vintage piece beside something modern. A quiet palette made interesting through texture. Original architectural details given new life rather than erased.
